About

Based in Berlin with Spanish roots, Adriana Bona is a multidisciplinary artist that blends sound, music and visuals into her creative world.

As a Sound Designer, Recording Engineer and Composer, she moves fluidly between roles, whether it is recording in the studio, capturing audio on set with a boom mic, crafting immersive soundscapes or composing the soundtrack for a film.

Her work is driven by a deep sensitivity to storytelling and atmosphere, always seeking to enhance emotional depth through sound.

Adriana in Studio

For her, being multidisciplinary means embracing every part of the creative process, always looking for fresh ways to connect sound and story in meaningful ways.

The Background

Adriana's artistic foundation is rooted in a classical music education.

She studied Oboe at a conservatory for ten years, an experience that shaped her musicality, discipline, and attentive listening.

Building on this background, she completed a bachelor's degree in Sound Engineering and Music Production, where she expanded her technical skills while developing a contemporary approach to sound and composition.

Throughout her studies, she actively pursued a wide range of creative interests, allowing her to bridge technical precision with artistic intuition.

She has gained hands-on experience by volunteering in several music and film events, such as Catalyst Signals Festival (2022) and Berlin Sci-Fi Filmfest (2024).

Film & Visuals

Play a central role in Adriana's creative life and remain one of her greatest passions. She believes that there are no visuals without music, just as there is no music without visuals; each continuously inspiring and complementing the other.

This philosophy informs her close collaboration with filmmakers and visual artists, as well as her hands-on experience on set as a boom operator, as a sound designer and as a composer.

In 2024, Adriana co-founded the psychedelic rock band STEREO HUES alongside three close friends.

As the band's keyboardist, she explores live performance as an essential extension of her artistic practice. Being an instrumentalist has always been an important part of her creative life, offering a space for experimentation, improvisation and shared energy.

Adriana values the collaborative process of making music with others and the immediacy that comes from sound unfolding in real time.

Through her work, Adriana approaches sound and music as integral parts of storytelling, shaping narrative, emotion, and visual language in constant dialogue with image.
